1. Who We Are

XZeeDone ("we", "us", "our") operates the website xzeedone.com, a free online tools platform providing subtitle synchronization, PDF processing, background removal, and other browser-based utilities.

2. What Information We Collect

Files you upload: When you use our tools (subtitle sync, PDF toolkit, background remover, image tools), your files are processed entirely in your browser. Your files are NEVER uploaded to our servers, stored, or transmitted to any third party.

Exception — Text Translator: The Text Translator tool sends your text to the MyMemory API (mymemory.translated.net) to perform translation. No files are sent — only the text you type. MyMemory is a free, open translation service. Do not enter sensitive personal information in the translator.

Exception — Currency Converter: The Currency Converter fetches live exchange rates from exchangerate-api.com. No personal data is sent — only a request for current rates.

Account and feedback data: If you create an account, Firebase stores the account information needed for sign-in and Pro entitlement (such as email, display name where supplied, and Firebase user ID). If you submit private feedback, we store the rating/comment and any optional reply email you choose to provide.

Analytics and product metadata: We use Google Analytics for aggregate usage statistics and Firebase/Netlify for limited operational metadata needed for accounts, Free/Pro usage, feedback, conversion attribution, and abuse protection. Tool content is not sent with these events.

Google Analytics may collect information including:

• Pages visited and time spent on each page
• Your country and city (approximate)
• Device type (desktop, mobile, tablet)
• Browser type and operating system
• How you found our site (search engine, direct, social media)

What we do NOT collect:

• Your file contents, pasted tool contents, transcripts, generated passwords, or other tool payloads
• Your files or their contents
• Payment information (handled entirely by Stripe)
• Your account password (Firebase Authentication handles sign-in credentials)

3. How We Use Your Information

• To understand how users interact with our tools so we can improve them
• To identify which tools are most popular and build more like them
• To detect and fix technical issues
• To measure the effectiveness of our content

We do NOT use your information for advertising, profiling, or selling to third parties.

4. File Processing — Your Files Stay Private

All file processing on XZeeDone happens entirely within your web browser using JavaScript. This means:

• Your subtitle files (.srt, .vtt) are processed locally on your device
• Your PDF files are processed locally on your device
• Your images are processed locally on your device
• No file data is ever sent to our servers
• We have zero access to the contents of your files
• Files are not stored anywhere after you close the browser tab

5. Cookies

We use analytics cookies where applicable and a first-party abuse-protection cookie. The abuse-protection cookie contains a random signed identifier, is marked HttpOnly/Secure/SameSite=Lax, and is used only to make repeated Free-limit resets harder.

For abuse protection, our application may derive a short-lived keyed signal from request network information. The application database stores the keyed signal rather than the raw IP address, and the signal rotates daily. Our hosting provider may still process normal request metadata under its own policies.

If cookies are blocked, most browser-local tools can still function, but some account, attribution, analytics, or abuse-protection features may be reduced.

6. Third-Party Services

Google Analytics: We use Google Analytics to collect anonymous usage statistics. Google's privacy policy applies to data collected by Google Analytics. You can opt out using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

Stripe: The one-time 30-day Pro purchase is processed by Stripe. There is no auto-renewing subscription. Stripe handles payment-card information; we do not store your card details. Stripe's privacy policy governs payment data.

Google Fonts / Merriweather Sans: Our site loads fonts from Google Fonts. Google may collect basic request data (IP address, browser type) when serving fonts.

7. Data Retention

Operational records may include account records, pseudonymous tool events, conversion events, feedback you submit, and short-lived abuse-protection counters. Abuse-protection network signals rotate daily and rolling usage-event arrays are pruned to the current 24-hour window by the application. Other service retention is governed by the configuration and policies of Firebase, Netlify, Google Analytics, and Stripe.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights including:

• The right to know what data we hold about you
• The right to request deletion of your data
• The right to opt out of analytics tracking
• The right to data portability

9. Children's Privacy

XZeeDone is not directed at children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us immediately.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of XZeeDone after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
